At Evolve we know why we got in the Health Care field and we understand that most people do it for the same reasons. We have a genuine love for taking care of people, we want to help and make a difference. It is a very gratifying and fulfilling career. How many times have we gone to work to make someone else feel better and at the end of the day reflect on how the opposite happened? All too often in our quest to help others, the people we see at their lowest point turn around and "help" us. How much have you learned about life from the 90 year old patient who has everything to complain about but, instead just wants to tell you great stories from "the good ole days"? Maybe you got in an argument that morning with your spouse or your kids. The patient that has no one to be there with them shows you how important your family really is, how you need to cherish every moment because you never know what tomorrow brings. We all know how special life is and how everything can change in a second, we see it everyday. The one thing we sometimes need to be reminded of is that we might not always be the spectator or the one putting the pieces back together, we might be the one living through it.
